{sunshine}

Oh my gosh what a little "sunshine" baby "A" is!  From her golden head of hair to her beautiful blue eyes with a personality to match.  So expressive and just plain happy. 

{change of pace}

I don't usually get to phograph many "big people" especially couples since I don't do weddings.  So when this cute couple called I jumped at the chance.  They were up for anything  and we had a fun little mini-session.  Thanks A and B and congratulations on your 3 years of marriage!

{New York}

I just got back from spending the weekend in New York with my husband.  I of course did not travel without my little companion...my camera.  I have only been to New York twice before and wanted to try my hand at landscape photography.  Central park is just so charming to me with the horse drawn carriages, canoes, and bridges tucked right inside the "big city".  Love it.  My husband jokes that I photographed everything except a homeless person and trash.  Haven't been through all my files yet so we will see.  Ha.  I am so use to photographing people that this was really challenging for me. The urban backdrops were just so perfect if only I had a "subject".  I kept wanting to grab random children off the streets but decided that wasn't such a good idea.  Anyway, I came back with a better appreciation for landscape photography and an even greater love for what I do..photographing people! 

{lots to share}

As promised I wanted to share a few images I shot while at a workshop I attended a few weekends ago.  Lots of oh sooo gorgeous children...lucky me.  Where does the time go?  I have been working on some new things, making a few changes and will be introducing some new products for Marci Yochum Photography.  I will also share more from my mini-sessions I did this past weekend soon.

{Happy Father's Day}

{Heading out of town}

I will be heading out of town tomorrow to attend a weekend long photography workshop in Michigan.  I am really looking forward to surrounding myself amoung other talented photographers from around the country so I can just 100% focus on my photography.  I hope to learn a few things and to overall just be inspired.  I'll post pics when I return.  I will return phone calls and emails on Monday.  Have a great weekend.
